Chad McGhee, 36, disappeared from his Sullivan County home on August 13, 2013. Chad had planned to fill out job applications with his mother once she returned home from her night shift. She laid down for a short rest, and when she woke up, Chad was gone. Because he struggled with drug use, his family waited a few days before reporting him missing. What makes Chad’s disappearance unusual is that he left behind all personal belongings, including his phone. The Indiana State Police took over the investigation and have explored several avenues, but nothing concrete has been discovered. Chad was a father, and his family continues to seek answers.
