Gary Lansaw and Ronald Gilbert
Missing Since: 1984
Gary Lansaw, 35, and Ronald Gilbert, 28, disappeared from Terre Haute, IN, on September 18, 1984. The two men had traveled to Paris, IL, to collect a drug‑related debt from Jerome E. Board. They never returned home, and their bodies have never been found. Investigators believe Jerome and his brother, Herbert Board Jr., killed Gary and Ronald rather than paying the $2,800 debt. The Board brothers were tried for the murders in 2000. Despite testimony from Jerome’s ex‑wife, Debra, claiming the brothers shot and dismembered the men, both were acquitted due to lack of physical evidence. Gary and Ronald remain missing.
